If your videoask contains sensitive or confidential information, make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands by restricting access to who can view and respond to it with a passcode.
By default, videoasks are available to anyone who has the link to them. However, if you want to restrict access to a videoask you've created, you can add a passcode. Here's how:
Note: This feature is only available on paid plans.
From your videoask inbox, select the Share & Embed icon.
Toggle on Make videoask private in the left-hand side panel.
Choose a passcode and type it into the passcode box.
Note: Your passcode must contain at least 8 characters. Click the icon of an eye to view/hide your passcode.
Now when you share your videoask with your audience, they'll have to type in the passcode you've set before they can view and interact with it.
To remove the passcode and make your videoask public again, just toggle off the Make videoask private setting.
Check it out for yourself! Just enter the password you see in the screenshot above to gain access! 😉
Note: Currently, when you add a passcode to your videoask, the option to embed the videoask will not be shown. As a workaround, you can copy the embed code before toggling the passcode option on. Then, when you embed your videoask, the passcode screen will display.
